Intertone III is a 3:40-minute exploration of pitch bending on the pipe organ, performed by Heike Kaltenbrunner and Boris Shershenkov on the Proximity Organ in the sound installation None/ ninth.
Recorded in 2025 at the Nordico City Museum of Linz during the exhibition “It’s me, Toni” .
This music paper was designed for the graphical notation of compositions or ’suspense arcs‘ for improvisation on the proximity organ. It shows the valve opening from 0 to 127 on the left side, and lines for the first overtone, the octave jump and the start of the main tone.
